DAD WASN'T FORGOTTEN THIS FATHERS DAY AT BEAU MONDE
We had the perfect way to thank Dad this year: A seafood & BBQ buffet. For only $55 per person including a welcome drink for everyone and gift for Dad, many Dads had a great Fathers Day without any of the hassle. Tempting seafood dishes included freshly shucked oysters, lemon pepper calamari and tempura fried barramundi. Delicious BBQ dishes included marinated porterhouse minute steaks, sticky BBQ pork ribs and honey & soy chicken drumsticks. To finish Dads spoilt themselves with pavlova, lemon meringue pie and triple chocolate mousse. Make a diary note to book early next year to avoid dissapointment.

MOTHERS WERE TREATED AND SPOILED ON MOTHERS DAY AT BEAU MONDE
Mums were treated to a relaxing and decadent Mothers Day at beau Monde. All mums received a special gift of a Simone Perele gift voucher, a potted Cyclamen in flower and 9 lucky door prizes. KIDS HOPPED INTO BEAU MONDE FOR FAMILY FOOD AND FUN THIS EASTER
Whether you were a local or an interstate visitor, Beau Monde had the ideal Easter treat for your family. We offered family friendly accommodation packages including chocolate breakfast buffet, Easter eggs in the room, an Easter egg hunt PLUS kids stayed and ate free, from $215 per night. Kids stay and eat free when using existing bedding and accompanying a full paying adult when dining (excludes breakfast).
The Sumptuous Easter Hot Breakfast Buffet was available for hotel guests and local residents each morning from Good Friday through until Easter Monday. It was a fully booked affair which included hot dishes, fresh fruits, as well as chocolate station with treats like a chocolate fountain, chocolate hot cross buns and a Easter Egg hunt for the kids. Bookings are essential so make a diary note to get in early for next year.
LOVE WAS IN THE AIR ON VALENTINES DAY
The restaurant at Beau Monde was filled with the sounds of giggling and clicking glasses on Valentiens Day evening. Loved-up couples enjoyed a 4 course romantic dinner and the lucky ladies were presented with long stem roses at the conclusion of the dinner.
All Romeo's should make a diary note to book early next year to avoid dissapointment.
SUMMER MENU LAUNCHED
Chef Vipin Sharma is excited to announce the newly launched Summer Menu at Beau Monde International. The new menu features dishes like Lemon pepper calamari with a tangy ginger and lime sauce and rocket salad as a starter and Basil and garlic marinated chicken breast with truffled potato rosti, broccolini and pepperonata sauce as a main. Beau Monde International is delighted to be using our High Tea on the 27th November to help raise funds for the McGrath Foundation. The McGrath Foundation supports McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities across Australia and educates young women to be breast aware. SPRING MENU LAUNCHED
Chef Vipin Sharma yesterday launched his new Spring Menu. Featuring his signature dish 'Chai smoked duck maryland with spinach, garlic, homemade duck sausage, spring onion and five spice sauce', the menu received great reviews by diners in the restaurant last night. BEAU MONDE STILL A WINNER
The hotel may not have won it’s category at the recent AHA Victoria Accommodation Awards but our customer feedback show the Beau Monde International is winning our guests vote.
The Beau Monde International was piped at the post with a CBD property being named as the winner of the Superior Accommodation category in the recent Australian Hospitality Association (VIC) Accommodation Awards for Excellence.
While disappointed, Garry Gibson Director of Beau Monde International, was proud of his team for making the Finals for the second year in a row “As a small Hotel in the Eastern Suburbs, conquering the CBD hotels in this category is going to be a challenge. Our team are determined to keep striving to provide the best possible service and facilities to our guests.”
The annual hotel awards are judged on providing an excellent range of facilities and customer service, as well as its contribution to raising professionalism in the accommodation industry.
The Beau Monde International is a 4 ½ star Hotel and function venue in Doncaster. The long established business has seen a significant rejuvenation under the reigns of business owners Garry & Sharyn Gibson.

Extended Restaurant Menu
At the Beau Monde International’s restaurant, the dinning experience is a relaxed elegance while the ever professional team serve fabulous food, wonderful wines and superior service.
The restaurant offers diners a modern Australian menu and an extensive wine list. With the arrival of autumn, the team have launched an extended menu and the welcome return of the Black Angus porterhouse with rocket and olive salad, crispy potatoes and port wine jus. The new menu will be available from Friday 04 March 2011. Read the Autumn Menu.
The restaurant is open for lunch Monday – Friday and Dinner is served Monday – Saturday. A reminder you do not have to be a hotel guest to enjoy dining at The Beau Monde International.

RESTAURANT BOOKINGS GO LIVE
Making a restaurant booking at Beau Monde Internationals has never been easier. The team have partnered with Dimmi a real-time restaurant booking service to allow diners to access the restaurant diary make a booking and receive an instant confirmation.
General Manager Garry Gibson is excited to see the results of implementing Dimmi at the hotel “Online bookings are definitely the future, we are delighted to be offering our customers access to Dimmi ‘s quick and convenient reservation system”
This is free service for customers.
Dimmi has also partnered with many of Australia’s online restaurant guides, to allow prospective diners to go directly from a restaurant review to a reservation. WATER WISE AT BEAU MONDE INTERNATIONAL
In conjunction with Yarra Valley Water the Beau Monde International has retrofitted all bathrooms in the boutique hotel’s 34 accommodation rooms with water saving shower heads.
The Satinjet showerheads have been winning awards for their unique design.
Guest feedback has been over whelmingly positive, proving water efficiency doesn’t need to compromise a luxurious showering experience.

AAA Tourism is the national tourism body of Australia’s Auto Clubs and manages all accommodation property assessments Australia-wide, Australian travellers have been trusting STAR Ratings for over 50 years.
The assessment is based on over 300 Standards that cover Facilities & Services, Cleanliness, Quality & Condition. The points awarded by the Assessor determine a property's STAR Rating and each property must also meet specific key expectations in a number of areas which directly impact customer service experience, such as room service and reception opening hours.
AAA tourism assessors have again judged Beau Monde International to be a 4 ½ star property. Our well appointed accommodation and stylish décor throughout the property, combined with the high standard of facilities and guest services resulted in an increase in the evaluation points awarded. The Hotel’s continuous upgrading of room facilities was well received.
